Regulations Of Dental Practice

Course description 

This class is designed to provide an introduction of the legal aspects of practicing dentistry.  It includes a thorough review of the Dental Practice Act in California.  Additionally, it introduces the concepts of regulation of behavior in society, including mandated responsibilities such as reporting abuse, and self-control of the use of alcohol and drugs.  Finally, it includes the mechanisms available to mediate disputes with patients when they occur.
