Pediatric Treatment Planning
Course description
This course will review and introduce pediatric dentistry topics designed for students to be able to diagnose and treatment plan oral conditions common to the pediatric patient. Additionally, students will understand the principles of restorative dentistry unique to the pediatric patient, including behavior guidance and quadrant-based dentistry. This course also provides the opportunity for students to apply accumulated knowledge and skills already taught in previous pediatric dentistry courses in the context of clinical cases in order to prepare them for the comprehensive treatment of pediatric patients.
