Introduction To Pediatric Dentistry
Course description
This is a didactic and preclinical lab course focused on building the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that dental graduates need to provide care to children. Although lab exercises focus mainly on applying concepts learned in the Direct and Indirect Restoration courses to the primary and newly erupted permanent tooth, didactic content will expand student skills in diagnosing carious lesions and determining best treatment alternatives in the context of the child's developmental status.
