Gross Anatomy
Course description
Human Gross Anatomy is a regionally-based anatomy course for 1st year dental students that involves the in-depth study and mastery of the anatomy of the head & neck (with an emphasis on the oro-facial complex), and its interrelationship with the anatomy of the thorax, and abdominal regions. This includes the study of the various body systems (integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, circulatory, lymphatic, respiratory and digestive systems) as components of these systems span the anatomical regions of focus.
