Course Details: As part of both RFE211 and RFE 212 courses, the preclinical restorative digital dentistry module aims to enhance students’ familiarity and comfort level with CAD/CAM workflow on partial coverage and FPD restorations, easing the transition into the clinic. The hands-on bonding workshop further reinforces the conceptual learning and allow students to appreciate the nuanced differences in the bonding protocols of direct composite resin, indirect lithium disilicate and indirect zirconia restorations. Utilization of simodont will allow students to practice direct and indirect preparation with the haptic feedback dental simulators, which could be utilized for practice runs for future patient cases.
