Course description 

First Year: This course builds on the fundamentals of caries as an infectious disease presented in Cariology 100, examining common clinical manifestations of the disease. Additionally, aspects of non-carious tooth structure loss will be covered.

Second Year: This course introduces novel technologies and devices for detecting, monitoring, and preventing caries lesions. It will also include an evaluation of each student’s competency in the oral hygiene techniques taught in CAR100.
