Oral Surgery D4 Rotation

Course description 

During their 3 week block rotations, 4th year dental students will be learning at one of the four medical centers (VA West LA, VA Sepulveda, MLK, and UCLA Harbor). Each students will learn patient care, particularly surgical extractions, patient assessment and decision making, and acquire specialty knowledge in oral and maxillofacial surgery. At the end of their rotations students must compete a competency examination (an example is found on CCLE).
