Introduction To Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
Course description
This is the introductory course in oral and maxillofacial surgery. By the completion of the quarter, the student should be familiar with the basics of dentoalveolar surgery including patient evaluation, surgical instrumentation, surgical procedures and techniques.
The purpose of the course is to introduce the students to the basic tenets of oral and maxillofacial surgery with emphasis on dentoalveolar surgical procedures.
