In this 3-day course, we will review CAD/CAM application in dentistry, learn about chairside CAD/CAM workflow including milling and 3D printing, review optimal bonding protocol in restorative dentistry, and utilize the chairside CAD/CAM in their daily practice. We will also have hands-on experiences of 3 digital cases such as tooth preparation, scanning, designing, milling, glazing, and delivery.
Course Topics:
- Review CAD/CAM application in dentistry
- Learn about chairside CAD/CAM workflow including milling and 3D printing
- Review optimal bonding protocol in restorative dentistry
- Utilize the chairside CAD/CAM in their daily practice
- Hands-on experiences with 3 digital cases with model printing
- #8 zirconia ACC – prep, scan, design, mill, glaze, and deliver (full milling experience)
- #9 Lithium disilicate Veneer (pre-prepped and pre-milled) – glaze and deliver
- #30 onlay (pre-prepped) - scan, design, 3D print, glaze, and deliver (full printing experience)
- Upper and lower models – scan, design and 3D print
