Dental Student General Clinic

Step #1:

Make an appointment by calling (310) 206-3904. (Following the initial patient registration phone call, you will be given access to completing a medical history form electronically and other information related to dental care at UCLA.)

Step#2:

Before becoming a patient at the UCLA Dental Clinics, you will first be screened to determine if the General Clinic (pre-doctoral) is a good fit for your dental care needs. The oral health screening is free-of-charge. 

Step #3:

Following screening and if accepted as a patient, you will be assigned to a dental student and supervising faculty member from the UCLA School of Dentistry. If your case is too complex for our dental students, you may need specialized care at one of our Residency Clinics (including specialties), the Faculty Group Dental Practice or possibly the private sector. *** Please note that treatment at one of our specialized clinics, the UCLA Faculty Group Dental Practice or the private sector have higher fees. ***

If you wish to initiate treatment, we will take the necessary radiographs, assess the state of your general health and develop a treatment plan. The fee for the radiographs, assessment of your general health and treatment plan for new patients is $103.

Payment is expected on the day treatment is provided or must be paid in advance if laboratory services are required prior to treatment. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. The General Clinic accepts Dental Dental PPO, MetLife, and GSHIP (for UCLA students).
