New Patients

Thank you for your interest in becoming a patient of the UCLA Dental Clinics, we look forward to treating you. The first step to making an appointment is to determine the provider level and cost of care that works best for you. If you already have a referral to a specialty clinic, please call the clinic directly.

UCLA Dental Clinics in Westwood

Please call (310) 206-3904 if you are interested in becoming a patient or making an appointment at our General Clinic (predoctoral clinic).

You will receive a link to our Patient Access site that will allow you to initiate your new patient registration online.

Before becoming a patient at the UCLA Dental Clinics, you will be screened to determine if the General Clinic (pre-doctoral) is a good fit for your needs. The screening is free-of-charge. After screening and if accepted as a patient, you will be assigned to a student dentist and supervising faculty member from the UCLA School of Dentistry.

Once the screening process is complete, and if you are accepted as a potential teaching case in our student clinic, you will be scheduled for a comprehensive oral examination to assess the general state of your oral health and create a full-mouth treatment plan. The fee for the oral examination is $103 in the General Clinic, which includes a full mouth set of X-rays.

If your case is complex, you may need specialized care at one of our Residency Clinics (including specialties), the Faculty Group Dental Practice, or possibly the private sector.
