Requirements and Application Process

Requirements for admission to the Orofacial Pain and Dysfunction program for graduates of Non-CODA accredited dental schools (foreign) are the following:

  • Degree from a dental school accredited by the local government jurisdiction

  • National Board Dental Examination, Part I (Official copies of scores must be emailed to: postdds@dentistry.ucla.edu.)

  • English language proficiency

Application Process

  • Curriculum vitae and 2" x 2" photo

  • Original NBDE Part I scores

  • Original NBDE Part II scores (by June 1st of the year program starts)  

  • INBDE scores (if taken instead of NBDE part I/II) must be submitted

  • Original TOEFL scores

  • Official undergraduate and dental school transcripts

  • 3 Confidential Recommendation Reports

  • Supplemental Application

  • $150 non-refundable application fee – PAY HERE

  • The application fee must be paid using the link above.[Applicants may also pay by a check drawn from a U.S. affiliated bank, cashier’s check or money order made payable to UC Regents.]

  • PASS Application

Application due date for PASS and Supplemental Application is October 15
