For U.S. and internationally trained dentists
We offer preceptorship programs designed for U.S. and internationally trained dentists to gain postgraduate training in a clinical setting. Preceptorships are observer programs* that do not involve patient care and require a time commitment between one and four academic quarters.

*Please note that the preceptorship programs are not accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. After successful completion, individuals are awarded a certificate signed by the program director and the associate ean of clinical affairs.
A Global Impact
Trainees come to UCLA from around the world, then return to their home countries to improve oral health in countries such as India, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Japan, Mexico, Iran, Pakistan, Thailand, Libya, Myanmar, Ghana, Greece, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Canada, Norway, Brazil, the Philippines, Turkey, and the U.S.
