- Degree from a dental school accredited by the local government jurisdiction
- English language proficiency
Application Process
- Curriculum vitae and 2" x 2" photo
- Official dental education transcripts and an official Educational Credential Evaluators ECE Course-by-Course Report
- Official TOEFL score. Please note the TOEFL school code for the UCLA School of Dentistry is: 8354.
- 3 Confidential Recommendation Reports (signed and sealed)
- Application Form
- $150 non-refundable application fee
- The application fee must be paid using the link above.[Applicants can also pay by check drawn from a U.S. affiliated bank, cashier’s check or money order made payable to UC Regents.]

On August 24, 2026, the U.S. government Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control suspended several general licenses allowing services related to Iran and individuals in Iran. Specifically, General License G, which had allowed U.S. colleges and universities to provide certain educational services to people in Iran, is included in this suspension. Because of this change, the University of California is no longer able to file or process applications, accept application fees or tuition payments, or provide certain educational services to individuals who:
• are currently located in Iran; or are outside Iran but ordinarily live in Iran.
