Requirements and Application Process

Requirements for admission to the Advanced Education General Dentistry - Westwood program for graduates of Non-CODA accredited dental schools (foreign) are the following:

• Dental degree and transcripts from a minimum 4-year dental school accredited by the local government jurisdiction.

• National Board Dental Examination Part 1 by the application deadline

• INBDE Score (If taken instead of NBDE Part 1 and 2)

• English language proficiency scores (TOEFL) 

• Official TOEFL score (a minimum score of 600 on the paper-based TOEFL, 250 on the computerized version, or 87 on the internet-based is required). Please note the TOEFL school code for the UCLA School of Dentistry is: 8354. The scores should be received by the application deadline.

• Residency Supplemental Application

• Original NBDE/INBDE Scores 

• Original TOEFL Scores

• Official transcripts with certified translation

• 3 Confidential Recommendation Reports

• $150 non-refundable application fee – PAY HERE

• The application fee must be paid using the link above.[Applicants may also pay by a check drawn from a U.S. affiliated bank, cashier’s check or money order made payable to UC Regents.]

• PASS Application 

Application Due Date is October 16 for PASS and Supplemental Application
