Admissions and Applying

Requirements for admission to the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Residency program for graduates of Non-CODA accredited dental schools (foreign) are the following:

• Dental degree and transcripts from a minimum of 4-year dental school accredited by the local government jurisdiction

• National Board Dental Examination Part 1 by the application deadline

• National board dental examination Part 2 by June 1 of the year in which the program starts

• INBDE score (if taken instead of the NBDE Part 1 and 2)

• English Language Proficiency (TOEFL) 

• Official TOEFL scores (a minimum score of 600 on the paper-based TOEFL, 250 on the computerized version, or 87 on the internet-based is required). Please note the TOEFL school code for the UCLA School of Dentistry is 8354. The scores should be received by the application deadline.

• Original NBDE/INBDE scores

• Original TOEFL scores

• Official transcripts with certified translation

• Supplemental Application Form

• 3 Confidential Recommendation Reports

• $150 non-refundable application fee – PAY HERE

• The application fee must be paid using the link above.[Applicants may also pay by a check drawn from a U.S. affiliated bank, cashier’s check or money order made payable to UC Regents.]

• PASS Application

Application due date for PASS and Supplemental Application is September 15
