Requirements for Admissions

  • Proof of your status as a U.S. citizen, permanent U.S. resident, Canadian citizen or your status as an H-1B visa holder, and your eligibility to work in the United States*

  • DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited program

  • National Board Dental Examination, Parts I and II (Official copies of scores must be emailed to: Part 1 is required to apply, Part II is required prior to matriculation.

  • ADAT (Advanced Dental Admissions Test) score will be considered for admission. It is strongly recommended but not required.

Application Process

  • Submit ALL primary and supplemental materials through the Postdoctoral Application Support Service (PASS) website, including at least four (4) Professional Evaluation Forms and one (1) Institutional Evaluation Form, undergraduate transcripts and dental transcripts.

  • Participate in the Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program (Match) for AEGD programs.

Incomplete files will not be considered and the program coordinator will not accept application material.

*Before the start of the program, residents must verify and provide proof of authorization to work and study in the U.S. Failure to obtain or maintain all necessary visas, licenses, and permits and/or to maintain eligibility to work in the U.S. shall result in automatic suspension and may result in dismissal. Verification of the aforementioned must be received by June 1, of the admission year, for U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, and H-1B visa holders, and by June 21, of the admission year, for those Canadian citizens applying for TN status, or acceptance may be withdrawn.
