Post-doctoral Position (Cancer Group)

A postdoctoral position is available to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms of oral squamous cell carcinoma pathogenesis in the context of host-microbe interactions and the oral microbiome. Candidate will perform a variety of in vitro and in vivo studies, including cell culture, cell assays (migration, invasion, sphere, apoptotic assays), basic microbiology studies, ELISA assays, PCR assays, histology, immunostaining, in vivo animal models, and bioinformatic analyses of RNA-Seq and microbiome sequencing data.

Candidates should have a strong background in cancer biology, cell biology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. This is a full-time position. Initial appointment will be one year, continued employment is contingent upon availability of funding and candidate’s performance. Salary rate to be based on the postdoctoral scholar’s experience level. Candidate must possess a PhD in the field of biomedical sciences.
