Welcome to the UCLA Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program. As a post-doctoral program, the AEGD clinic offers comprehensive treatment to patients who meet the teaching case criteria. Our fees are lower than the private sector.

Prior to becoming a patient of record, all patients must go through a screening process, that involves a brief discussion and a cursory exam by the faculty member. No treatment will be rendered at this appointment, an exam will be made and a general determination of dental needs and approximate costs may be provided. This screening in no way commits the AEGD clinic to accept and treat a patient. Acceptance depends on whether an individual’s dental needs meet the training and educational criteria of the AEGD program.
Patients who desire shorter appointments or who have more extensive dental needs may be good candidates for treatment here. Patients with limited treatment approaches to their dental concerns are generally not a good match. However, we occasionally accept patients who may require less involved treatments, depending on the educational program needs. Faculty is available at all clinic sessions for supervision and consultation. Emergency care is provided after hours.
