This recorded video lecture will present aspects of cardiovascular disorders relating to the management of patients with heart failure, arrhythmias, at risk for infective endocarditis and rheumatic heart disease. Clinicians will be able to utilize this information to improve dental patient assessment and care. This is Module 3 of 3.

- cardiac arrhythmias
- conditions at risk for infective endocarditis
- rheumatic heart disease
Course Objectives
By the end of the lecture, participants will be able to:
- define dental management issues for patients with heart failure
- explain the most significant cardiac arrhythmias in dental care
- outline conditions at risk for infective endocarditis
- define rheumatic heart disease and its implications in dentistry
