This recorded video lecture will present pulmonary conditions, primarily focusing on medical issues and different types of lung conditions. Clinicians will be able to utilize this information to improve dental patient assessment and care. This is Module 1 of 2.

- restrictive pulmonary conditions
- vascular conditions
- hypoventilation
- pulmonary infections
Course Objectives
By the end of the lecture, participants will be able to:
- define the most common clinical findings of patients with COPD and asthma
- explain the most relevant diagnostic tests used in patients with pulmonary conditions
- describe the relationship between the pulmonary and cardiovascular systems
