Many of our patients come to receive treatment for their orthodontic needs or needed specializations. We are proud to serve all patients — in fact, our residents and staff speak multiple languages and we offer services for children and adults with special needs and disabilities. We treat various types of conditions ranging from orthognathic surgical cases to craniofacial anomaly and cleft lip and palate cases. Alongside our specialist doctors, we at UCLA are able to properly and successfully treat difficult referred cases from other clinics.

Our highly accomplished residents, knowledgeable board-certified faculty, and welcoming staff work collaboratively to provide superior care to all our patients. Importantly, we customize the treatment for each individual patient. Our faculty members are amongst the finest caliber of orthodontists in the world, and our residents are recruited from across the globe with diverse knowledge in dentistry and oral health.

Our clinic offers modern orthodontic services with state of the art technology. We incorporate innovative technology such as 5G CBCT, Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs), skeletal maxillary expanders (MARPE), various skeletal growth modification devices, and 3D scanners and printing into our orthodontic care. Above all, we provide patient-centered caring doctors and a comfortable and a safe environment.

New Patients and Payment Information

New Patients

The first step in starting orthodontic treatment at our clinic is to schedule an initial consultation appointment with our welcoming staff. During this appointment, our orthodontists will determine whether orthodontic treatment is appropriate for you and what type of treatment is best suited for your case. For those who need orthodontic treatment, we offer a variety of comprehensive orthodontic services ranging from traditional metal or clear braces to Invisalign.

* To expedite the registration process, you may print and complete the “Ortho New Patient Form” below and bring this to your first appointment.

Unfortunately, we do not accept patients who:

  • Wish to transfer from other offices or programs
  • Already have braces on their teeth
  • Wish to have only a retainer or a retainer replacement
  • Require services beyond the scope of teaching in the clinic

* These patients may contact the orthodontics clinic at the UCLA Faculty Group Dental Practice where our full-time faculty members practice.

Payment Information

We accept all PPO insurances with Orthodontic coverage. Such insurance plans include Delta Dental, Guardian, Metlife, and more.

We also accept Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal and CCS insurance members, but in order to receive coverage patients need to meet certain requirements for orthodontic treatment. The requirements are as follows:

  • Patients need to be between the ages of 13 to 21 and must meet the necessary Denti-Cal points. This can be determined at the initial consultation.

  • Patients who are surgical cases or are craniofacial anomaly or cleft lip/palate cases.

  • We offer exceptional and compassionate care at affordable rates. What distinguishes us from other clinics is that we offer monthly payment plans with 0% interest with a required initial deposit. We also provide insurance information to help you get the care you need.

  • There is a $50 fee for the initial consultation appointment.
