UCLA School of Dentistry Shines on Bruin Giving Day 2026
Community support lifts Dentistry to most gifts among four schools in UCLA's Health Sciences.
The UCLA School of Dentistry community came together in a major way for Bruin Giving Day 2026, delivering a strong showing among the university’s professional schools and leading all Health Sciences units for the second year in a row.
Fueled by broad participation from alumni, faculty, students, and friends, the School of Dentistry secured at least 138 gifts and $49,505. Final gifts are still being tallied, and final numbers will be updated as soon as they’re available. As of the publishing date, this collective effort places the School fifth overall among UCLA’s 12 professional schools, all the more impressive considering Dentistry has the second-smallest enrollment among these academic units.
“Bruin Giving Day 2026 was a smashing success thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm,” said Dean and Professor Dr. Paul H. Krebsbach. “Our community came together in a meaningful way, and I could not be prouder of what we accomplished.”
The campaign was bolstered by coordinated efforts from the school’s Development team, as well as alumni and faculty who helped establish matching gifts and fundraising challenges.
The celebration was highlighted by a lunchtime event in the Center for Health Sciences (CHS) Courtyard on Wednesday, April 29, allowing D.D.S. students to contribute in a meaningful way, including to the Apollonian Society, which directly benefits their experience. There were snacks and swag to thank Bruin Giving Day participants.
