Rana Al Rasheed, B.D.S., A.W.C.I.M. Fellow

Dr. Rana Al-Rasheed is a health sciences clinical assistant professor, group practice director, and faculty clinician in the Section of Interdisciplinary Dentistry at the UCLA School of Dentistry. An integrative dentist and educator, her academic interests include oral-systemic health, comprehensive treatment planning, and clinician well-being.

She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Jordan, completed advanced clinical training at the UCLA School of Dentistry, and received a fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona.

As group practice director, Dr. Al-Rasheed mentors predoctoral dental students, oversees clinical education within her group practice, and guides comprehensive treatment planning while maintaining an active faculty practice. Her academic work focuses on advancing interdisciplinary collaboration between dentistry and medicine by translating evidence into practical approaches that enhance patient care, dental education, clinician well-being and resilience, and public understanding of the oral-systemic connection.
