115 D.D.S. graduates, 56 residents, and 12 new oral biologists participate in May 31 commencement ceremony.

The UCLA School of Dentistry hosts its 59th commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 31 to celebrate the professional achievements of the class of 2026. During the 2.5-hour ceremony (viewable below), degrees were conferred upon 115 D.D.S. graduates. Eleven M.S. candidates and one Ph.D. candidate in Oral Biology will also walk the stage, while 56 postgraduate residents are completing certificate programs.

This milestone marked the transition from clinical training to independent practice for 60 D.D.S grads and residency programs for 55 of these newly-minted dentists, highlighting the graduates' dedication to evidence-based healthcare, community service, and the commitment to lifelong learning within the dental profession.
