Requirements and Application Process

  • Dental degree from a minimum 4-year dental school accredited by the local government jurisdiction

  • National Board Dental Examination, Part I, by the application deadline

  • National Board Dental Examination, Part II, by June 1st of the year program starts (Official copies of scores must be emailed to: postdds@dentistry.ucla.edu)

  • Four (4) Professional Evaluation Forms

  • Will consider ADAT scores submitted with the ADEA PASS application 

  • English Language Proficiency (TOEFL)

Application Process

  • Submit PASS application

    • Application due date is August 1.

  • $150 non-refundable application fee – PAY HERE

  • The application fee must be paid using the link above.[Applicants may also pay by a check drawn from a U.S. affiliated bank, cashier’s check or money order made payable to UC Regents.] 

  • 2 x 2 photo - (send electronically to postdds@dentistry.ucla.edu)

  • Original NBDE/INBDE scores - (Please submit on PASS)

  • TOEFL scores - (Please submit on PASS)

  • ADAT scores -(Optional, please submit on PASS)

 

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Electronic copies will be considered temporarily until original paper copies of transcripts and test scores are received. For all electronic correspondences, please email postdds@dentistry.ucla.edu

*Before the start of the program, residents must verify and provide proof of authorization to work and study in the U.S. Failure to obtain or maintain all necessary visas, licenses, and permits and/or to maintain eligibility to work in the U.S. shall result in automatic suspension and may result in dismissal. Verification of the aforementioned must be received by June 1, of the admission year, for U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents and by June 21, of the admission year, for those Canadian citizens applying for TN status, or acceptance may be withdrawn.
